Are You Majoring In Procrastination?

Do you procrastinate when studying for finals?  Is that even a question? I find myself doing anything, but the things I really need to do.   I clean my apartment from top to bottom, go grocery shopping, help other study, do all of my laundry, catch up on all the television shows I have missed,  take a coffee break, go for walk, think about the future, take a nap, etc.  The list could go on forever!

Does this sound like you?

Here are some tips to keep you from procrastinating during finals!

  1. Study somewhere that is already clean for you. For example, the library, a coffee shop, or a common space on campus.
  2. Make sure to take breaks and stretch your legs!
  3. Prioritize.  Make a to-do list in order of importance based on due dates and go from there.
  4. Tune out social media until finals are over!
  5. Give yourself a reward after finals!

Happy Studying!
